Blair Wilson Obituary, Death Cause – On October 15, 2023, Blair Alexander Wilson, who was dearly loved by our family and who served in roles including father, brother, husband, and friend, died away at the age of 67. Blair was born in Paisley, Scotland in 1956, but he and his family emigrated to the United States the following year, in 1958. After graduating from Kennedy High School in Bloomington, Minnesota, he went on to seek a degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at DeVry University in Chicago.

Blair married his one and only love, Carol, in 1983, and the happy pair went on to have three children together. His devotion to his family and his religion were the primary influences in his life. In addition to this, he coached the Orono girls’ hockey team and served as a mentor to the children who attended Trinity Lutheran Church. The amount of effort that Blair put in was impressive, and he was always willing to support the ideas that were proposed by others. Finding answers to problems was something that brought him great satisfaction.

He enjoyed playing ice hockey and listening to quality music in his spare time. In his spare time, he liked to go for hikes and rides on his bike, attend concerts and sporting events, and tinker around in his workshop. Always encouraging, he would say things like “I love you” and “I am proud of you,” as well as things like “That’s not going anywhere” at the finish of a project, “keep your stick on the ice” in reaction to challenges in life, and so on. He would also say things like “That’s not going anywhere” at the conclusion of a project.

Blair is survived by his three cherished sisters Sarah, Alistair, and Ruth (Brian); his wife of 40 years Carol; the couple’s three daughters Ashley (Christopher), Ian (Jennifer), and Tori (William); as well as his adorably darling grandson Bennett Blair. Before he was born, all of his family members including his stepmother Patricia, father Alexander, and mother Morag, as well as his brother Ian had already passed away.

Trinity Lutheran Church, which can be found in Long Lake, Minnesota, will be the location of the services that will be held on Thursday, the 26th of October. Visitation will begin at eleven in the morning, the funeral ceremony will commence at twelve, and there will be a light lunch served at one in the afternoon. Either the Trinity Lutheran Church or Hammer Residences of Minnesota can receive financial contributions on your behalf.
